Applications Engineer

Application Engineer is an active members of our technical sales team with primary responsibilities in pre- and post-sales application and product support.  Some travel to work side-by-side with customers on their applications is required..

Role as Application Engineer includes:

• Sizing and selection of products for customer applications.
• Mechanical and electrical integration support for customer systems.
• Software and programming support for customer applications.
• Training our sales force on our products.
• Answering phone support inquiries.
• Responding to website support requests and web forum support requests

BS Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required.

Mechatronics background or emphasis is preferred.

Minimum 1 year motion control work and job experience preferred.

C/C++ programming experience preferred.

We need a team player with interest in interfacing with customers and colleagues - required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Electronic Design Engineer

(Analog and Power Group)

We are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer to join our Analog and Power Group team. 

Minimum MSEE (power electronics option preferred).

Candidates must have minimum 5 years experience in design of analog and power circuitry.

Must understand use of IGBT and power MOSFET amplifiers and drives.

Must be able to develop/design PCB schematics for power amplifiers, power inverters and DC/DC supplies.

Must have knowledge/experience of power electronics simulation hardware, power magnetics and EMC.

Must have knowledge/experience of Microprocessors and DSP base for power electronics.

Power range: watts to 50 kw.

Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a creative engineer to provide mechanical designs and technical leadership within our product development team. The right candidate will exhibit expertise and leadership in providing solutions that accommodate challenges associated with packaging, manufacturing, thermal performance and cross-platform modularity of our advanced technology product offering.

BSME minimum

Minimum three years experience with designing in Solidworks.

Design experience with: sheet metal, extrusions, machined parts and plastic injection molding.

Experience in thermal simulation and analysis of electronic assemblies.

Experience with mechanical design and packaging of power electronics a plus.
