Industries Served

Industrial robots are the workhorses of automation. Almost any time there is a repetitious process, a robot can be used to complete the task. Industrial robots can be used to arc weld parts, evenly spray coatings or paints, move components from one point to another, assemble products, package product, handle all types of materials, etc, etc - the applications are endless!

At the heart of this motion is servos. AMC can provide the precise velocity and position control required for these applications.

Welding

Positioning and wire feeders are used on welding robots. Often times the parts to be welded are not in a straight line or on one plane. Welding robots can weld curved surfaces and around corners with more consistency and faster than human welders.

Spray Paints / Coatings

Over spray and application thickness are the two main issues with workmanship. Switching to an automated system will show an immediate increase in quality and reduce the amount of waste from over spray. If there are EPA issues with the spray being used, the spray process can more easily be contained within an enclosure if a robot is being used.

Assembly

Assembly robots never tire or fatigue from repetitive tasks. The correct robot matched with the correct application can increase productivity and reduce costs from day one. Some have claimed that any assembly job by humans can be accomplished more efficiently with robots. AMC is ready to supply the motion for your next design!
