Advanced Motion Controls is committed to RoHS
Advanced Motion Controls products are RoHS compliant. In keeping with our environmentally friendly practices, Advanced Motion Controls is fully committed to complying with the RoHS directive. We see this as an opportunity to help the environment and as a way to again show commitment to our customers worldwide. After July 1, 2006, sales of certain electrical and electronic products into the European Union were limited to products that comply with RoHS. For these affected customers to continue their sales into Europe, their end products need to use components that are RoHS compliant. We realize that our customers are reliant on their suppliers to help meet this directive, as we too are in the same situation with our own suppliers. We are fully engaged in assuring that the components in our products are RoHS compliant. In fact, we have fully redesigned our products in cases where drop-in RoHS components were not available.
AMC's official statement on RoHS
RoHS Status at AMC
Other than some accessories our standard product line has been designed to be RoHS compliant. Some power supplies and mounting cards may not be RoHS. Some products designed for specific customers - custom products - may not be RoHS. Contact Customer Service if you have questions.
The above statement is for products built after July 2006 (date codes after 0630).
Manufacturing Process - 100%
Advanced Motion Controls no longer uses lead in the manufacturing process. The lead in reflow, wave-solder and hand-solder has been replaced with RoHS compliant non-lead solder.

Components - 100%
We have converted over to RoHS compliant components to remove restricted materials from AMC products. However, we have also identified a small number of components where the manufacturer will not provide RoHS replacements. In most cases we have designed these parts out. In a few cases such as some: power supplies, mounting cards and custom products, this is not possible so these remain non-RoHS products. Verify with Customer Service to see if your part is RoHS.
