Communications Control
In addition to moving the weight of the antenna, systems must also be designed to maintain position in high winds, be responsive enough to react to constant motion if mounted on a vehicle and operate in harsh environments.
Products marked - Modified started with a standard product and then were optimized to meet the customer's system requirements.
Products marked - Custom were designed from the ground up based on the customer's specifications.

Antenna ControlActive motion control is required to keep antennas pointed at their targets. Tracking stations can follow aircraft or drones to maintain communications and telemetry. Satellite tracking on the other hand doesn't need to be as responsive because the angular speeds are much lower and satellites follow predictable paths, but accuracy is still necessary.
