Reserved and Discontinued Products
Reserved - Reserved products can only be purchased for existing applications. Technical support is limited.
Discontinued - Discontinued products are no longer manufactured and are not available for purchase. Technical support is very limited or unavailable.
Q: How do you determine if your product is Active, Reserved or Discontinued?
A: Find the "Product Resource Center" on the left panel of this website. Enter the part number to view the product information window and determine the status.
Migration Assistance - Please Contact Technical Support if you need help migrating from a Reserved/Discontinued product to an Active product. We would be happy to help you find a comparable product from our current product line. Because Active models take advantage of newer technology, they are in general more cost effective, reliable, smaller and more powerful than older models.

Software
AMC recommends only using the latest version of software and firmware. Older versions are made available for the convenience of customers that have locked in their designs with older software and firmware. However, this software is no longer supported by technical support. Please be aware that in many cases, old software and new servo drives are not compatible because of differences in firmware. Contact technical support if attempting to replace drives that have old firmware with drives that have new firmware.

Private Labeled Parts - Parts discontinued by the private labeling OEM
ADVANCED Motion Controls builds amplifiers for other motion control companies (private label). As a rule, we do not support private labeled parts nor do we suggest standard AMC amplifiers to replace custom amplifiers without the permission of the private labeled company. Technical questions are referred to the company that initiated the custom design. Since we do not directly sell private labeled amplifiers, sales of the custom are also referred to the private labeled company.
The following amplifiers were private labeled and discontinued. We were given permission by these companies to sell these products for replacements only and support for them is up to the purchaser. Contact the original equipment manufacturer for complete information.
Fadal
ADVANCED Motion Controls is the original designer and manufacturer of these Fadal parts. Now you can purchase these brand new OEM parts directly from us at a discount.
