ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLER/SOLDERER

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent soldering skills.
  • Must have prior experience with PCB assembly.
  • Must have prior experience with Soldering thru-hole and SMT components.
  • Will be required to use IPC specifications.
  • Must be able to speak and read English.

ERP SOFTWARE DEVELOPER   

Job Summary:  

We are looking for a motivated and experienced ERP Software Developer to become a key member of our internal software development team.  The right candidate will bring working experience with Epicor ERP systems and database structured business systems architecture, design and integration.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and update Epicor ERP tooling and automation in support of our manufacturing business.
  • Create tooling to automate and integrate other operation systems and databases with Epicor.
  • Work directly with internal customers and staff to create project requirements.
  • Plan and manage development projects.
  • Develop and manage software customizations and reports.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience developing with Epicor ERP9/ERP10, including technical knowledge of Service Connect, BPMs, BAQs, Dashboards, Customizations and Menu Maintenance.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a development role supporting ERP implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience with business analysis and process work-flow implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database architecture.

MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

Hands on opportunity within our operations team - responsible for the daily production of our products with a continuous improvement mindset by optimizing the development, training and management of AMC manufacturing personnel in our Camarillo based state of the art PCBA production facility.  This position will ensure that lines are running efficiently while focusing on safety, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.  Direct responsibility for the labor content, quality, machine / line efficiency, schedule timeliness, safety and cleanliness of our production floor to ensure that company goals and objectives are met on a daily, monthly and annual basis.  Performance will be measured by achievement of these objectives and goals.

Essential Duties

  • Direct daily supervision of Area leads and Manufacturing direct labor.
  • Manufacturing employee training and cross-trainin.
  • Manufacturing process improvements.
  • Hands on experience in lean applying lean manufacturing practices with proven results.
  • Optimized Utilization of Manufacturing resources (person / machine).
  • Maintain key metrics associated with responsibilities.
  • 6-S plan (includes maintenance).
  • Maintain / improve ERP work order routing standards (work center, flow, set-up /cycle times).
  • Ensure personnel are properly trained (safety and maintenance) on key processes and equipment.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Leads production lead meetings to direct daily work activities, including work center staffing and w.o. priorities in support of critical on-time delivery to customer request / AMC promise
  • Monitor / track production process metrics and acts to ensure they meet established standards
  • Reviews / manages maintenance schedules for equipment to optimize availability in line with MPS requirements while minimizing down time and loss of production
  • Establish and control conditions of production to satisfy quality and customer specifications as well, through analysis of procedures with industrial engineering, equipment and materials utilized and adherence to standards is established
  • Performs administrative functions and audits as required. Focuses on labor resources, equipment, process monitoring and performance, shipping and quality.
  • Monitors and evaluates employee performance. Provides coaching and feedback to develop / improve behavior and performance.
  • Hold employees accountable for the quality of the product they produce; coach and provide performance feedback to employees if applicable.
  • Identifies and manages effective Manufacturing Excellence Projects focused on expansion of yields, equipment utilization and overall productivity.
  • Manage resources within given areas of responsibility to ensure staffing and equipment readiness levels match business activity levels.
  • Promotes, maintains, and enforces safe and healthy working conditions for all employees in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company standards.
  • Assign work according to designated priorities in order to maintain scheduled completion dates and throughput targets.
  • Provide operational input and guidance to technical staff for new product development, process improvement and process capability.
  • Maintain a high standard of product quality in accordance with ISO and the company Quality Manual.
  • Identify and execute cost savings initiatives that directly impact our Cost of Goods Sold and daily operational expenses in alignment with business and operations goals.
  • Prepare daily production and equipment utilization reports (KPIs) and maintain appropriate records in support of continuous improvement efforts and deliverables                              

Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering / operations management or other related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in an ERP managed OEM / CM electromechanical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, manual / automated soldering, etc. through final assembly and test).
  • Strong verbal, writing, interpersonal skills – ability to proactively engage dialogue and communication to reach resolutions with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Project management skills – develop plans, timelines / schedules to manage budgets, floor / work cell layouts, resource requirements, calculating ROI, etc.
  • Structured problem solving and countermeasure implementation.
  • Experience in reading engineering drawings to gain understanding of manufacturing process requirements such as job sequence, workflow, fixture requirements, cell layouts, etc.

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Job Summary:  

We are recruiting a creative and experienced Mechanical Engineer to be a key technical contributor to our Product Development team.  This team develops state of the art electronic products for servo control in motion systems, automation and robotics applications.    The right candidate will exhibit expertise and leadership in providing solutions that accommodate challenges associated with packaging, manufacturing, thermal performance and cross-platform modularity across our product line.   

Responsibilities:

  • Design mechanical fabrications necessary to meet product requirements.
  • Create robust and effective assembly designs considering user and environmental requirements.
  • Specify materials necessary to meet product cycle requirements.
  • Provide high-quality documentation for stakeholders including: engineering, fabricators, suppliers, assemblers and customers.
  • Conduct peer design reviews including Design for Manufacturability.
  • Provide solid models for concept design during initial phases of development.
  • Coordinate prototyping of new design concepts.
  • Maintain design change control of assemblies and fabrications.
  • Communicate and collaborate with peers and suppliers on technologies, techniques for fabrication and assembly methods.
  • Create tooling designs to aide in the manufacturing activities.
  • Create mechanical designs for servo-motor demonstration apparatuses for test, sales and promotional purposes.
  • Plan and manage development for assigned projects.
  • Innovate to provide high quality and cost-effective designs that facilitate manufacturing and inspire customers.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Advanced expertise with mechanical design using Solidworks.
  • Experience with fabrication and design involving: sheet metal, extrusions, machined parts, plastic, injection molding, adhesives and assemblies for manufacturing.
  • Application of FEA analysis tooling for thermal modeling.
  • Design for manufacturing techniques.
  • Knowledge of mechanical packaging associated with electronic assemblies.

SENIOR PRODUCTION PLANNER

Hands on opportunity within our operations team – this role is responsible for the production planning and scheduling of our MPS in an ERP managed electro-mechanical manufacturing environment.  SMT through final assembly and test, in support of a large global customer base.  This position will also be our primary interface with New Product Development for prototype projects.

Essential Duties:

  • Build and publish Daily Priority Report (sales order / build to stock work order status to due dates).
  • Manage primary communication between functional team re: critical impacts to support customer demand.
  • Primary interface to new Product Development for prototype projects via engineering prototype ECO process.
  • With master scheduler / mfg supervisor - create and manage level production schedule for production and prototype products.
  • Release / manage MPS planned work orders into production and required activities to maintain accurate MRP shop floor reporting and ship floor control.
  • Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between work centers to the plan while achieving customer requirements.
  • Work with Purchasing to maintain visibility on critical shortages.
  • Resolve shop floor issues involving production, scheduling and material backflush / kitting issues.
  • Work closely with functional teams to determine progress of work, completion dates, and production problems with parts.
  • Shop Floor Control – working with floor leads, maintain ERP work order integrity for all aspects (work center on time, completions, scrap, material backflush, etc.).

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Release and maintenance of work orders using our MRP system (Epicor).
  • Coordinate / interface with customer service as required re: on-time delivery of WIP.
  • With master scheduler / mfg supervisor - create and manage level production schedule for production and prototype products.
  • Coordinate / implement critical ECOs with master scheduler. Manage rework for critical ECOs in WIP.
  • Communicate with manufacturing supervisor and work center leads as needed to maintain schedule integrity and customer on-time delivery targets.
  • Work closely with accounting and other process owners to ensure job costing accuracy at closure.
  • Coordinate daily with all internal customers (master scheduler, work center leads, buyers, manufacturing supervisor, sales administration, etc.).
  • Assist in maintaining needed data for key operations performance metrics.
  • Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisor/management as deemed appropriate.

Required:   Education, Experience and Knowledge / Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in ERP / MRP production planning / production control in a vertically integrated OEM / CM manufacturing environment (electro-mechanical products). Epicor experience is a plus.
  • Project management skills in managing protos / new product first time builds and associated rework prior to production release.
  • Strong verbal, writing, interpersonal and analytical skills to effectively interface with your internal customers (master scheduler, buyers, sales admin, floor leads, engineering, manufacturing supervisor, etc.).
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and PLM systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in operations / supply chain or other related fields a definite plus.
  • Position will require periods of sitting, standing, walking, lifting and carrying.
  • This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo facility. Monday through Friday, 8a to 5pm. Overtime may be required including starting early, staying late, and or working Saturdays.

WAREHOUSE

Job Summary:

As part of the warehouse team, responsibility will alternate among all functions of receiving, kit pulls, material handling and shipping. Position requires you to work quickly and accurately but always in a safe manner and in compliance with all company policies.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Essential Duties will be dependent on specific warehouse function being performed.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production, engineering and other requestors within the company.
  • Enters transactions for materials or items received from or distributed to production, maintains records of inventory requests and work order requests.
  • Maintains accuracy of inventory in stocking locations.
  • Moves materials between stocking locations based on system generated requirements.
  • Receives shipments from suppliers, verifies packing slip quantities, matches to PO in database, processes receipt transaction.
  • Picks, packs and processes shipments to customers, using UPS and FedEx system as well as company database. 
  • Candidate must be accurate in counting of material and data entry of transactions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Candidate must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
  • This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5pm, including possible schedule changes (to support production) including starting early, staying late, and or working Saturdays.

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 3-years experience in stockroom operations in an electronics manufacturing environment preferred.
