ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are searching for an experienced electrical engineer to become a key, hands-on member of our product development and design team. The right candidate will design, implement, and support mixed signal hardware from schematic capture to production.

Required Qualifications:

  • Work Experience (post graduate): 5+ years design experience with BSEE, or 2+ years with MSEE.
  • Experience with analog closed loop controls design in industrial environments.
  • Experience with designing on board and offline power supplies.
  • Experience with simulation tools for analog circuits.
  • Experience with multi-layer board level design and EMC practices.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident due to our ITAR registration.
  • This is a full-time position located at our Camarillo, CA facility.
  • Post-graduation relevant work experience is nonnegotiable.

Required Education:

  • Minimum BS degree in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred.

Preferred:

ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLER

 

Requirements:

Job duties include: Component prep of through-hole parts using hand tools and pneumatic machines, electro-mechanical assembly, soldering, RTV, conformal coat, performing software testing on products, etc.   Perform other assignments as required.

  • Prior experience as an electro-mechanical assembler.
  • Knowledge of IPC-610 specifications.
  • Perform all work to company quality and productivity requirements.
  • Understand and adhere to ESD and ISO procedures.

  • Minimum education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills.

FIRMWARE ENGINEER (Communications Emphasis)

We are looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to be a key contributor within our Embedded Products Development Team.  This team develops state of the art embedded features and products associated with servo controls for motion systems and robotics applications.

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and implement effective, robust, and sustainable code for projects targeting our embedded servo amplifier platform, while working within a multi-developer team construct.
  • Analyze customer requests while creating engineering requirements and specifications.
  • Provide functional analysis, estimate resource allocation and define interfaces for firmware modules.
  • Work with software developers to ensure inter-operability between host and embedded systems.
  • Create specifications and complete unit testing prior to release and customer evaluation.

Required Qualifications:

  • Work Experience (post-graduate):  4+ years with BS degree or 2+ years with MS degree developing embedded firmware in C/C++.
  • Experience in implementing at least one real-time 100baseT networking protocol from the data link layer up. (Ideally (ECT, Profinet, UDP and TCP/IP).Driver Level)
  • Experience with memory operations, serial peripherals (SPI, I2C, CAN), and interrupts.
  • Experience with low-level device driver design for microcontrollers in real-time environments.
  • Ability to read and follow electrical schematics.
  • Good communications skills.

PCB DESIGNER

We are looking for a motivated and experienced circuit board designer to become an integral part of our product development team. The right candidate will create printed circuit board artwork working with electronics, embedded and hardware engineers, while contributing design expertise during implementation of ‘state of the art’ servo amplifiers which combine power circuitry, microprocessors, and high-speed communications into challenging packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Create artwork and fabrication data for multi-layer printed circuit boards using Mentor Graphics EDA.
  • Work closely with Design Engineers to create effective PCBAs.
  • Add, maintain, and validate the AMC parts database for engineering, includes new part add/updates, symbols, and footprint.
  • Maintain PCB artwork for active design configurations.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years CAD experience with design of high-speed digital PCBs including FPGA, DSP, and microcontroller-based circuits.
  • This is a full-time role working at our facility in Camarillo, CA.

Preferred Experience:

  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and equipment.

SMT OPERATOR

Job Description:

  • Setup and operation of surface mount pick and place machines, including tending to machines by quickly and efficiently loading or replenishing feeders with reels of components, entering programs into automated placement machinery, setting up support fixtures, and prepping assembly lines for next shop order.
  • Maintain components in stocking locations as required, promptly returning after each use and always observing proper ESD, MSL, and contamination prevention handling practices.
  • Setup and operation of automatic and semi-automatic stencil printers.
  • Setup and operation of mass reflow oven.
  • Perform manual component placement and inspection.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance.

WAREHOUSE

Job Summary:

As part of the warehouse team, responsibility will alternate among all functions of receiving, kit pulls, material handling and shipping. Position requires you to work quickly and accurately but always in a safe manner and in compliance with all company policies.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Essential Duties will be dependent on specific warehouse function being performed.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production, engineering and other requestors within the company.
  • Enters transactions for materials or items received from or distributed to production, maintains records of inventory requests and work order requests.
  • Maintains accuracy of inventory in stocking locations, daily cycle counts.
  • Moves materials between stocking locations based on system generated requirements.
  • Receives shipments from suppliers, verifies packing slip quantities, match to PO in database, processes receipt transaction.
  • Picks, packs and processes shipments to customers, using UPS and FedEx system as well as company database. 
  • Candidate must be accurate in counting of material and data entry of transactions.
  • Perform other assignments as required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk.
  • Candidate must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
