ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLER/SOLDERER

Required Qualifications:
  • Must have excellent soldering skills.
  • Must have prior experience with PCB assembly.

ERP SOFTWARE DEVELOPER   

Job Summary:  
We are looking for a motivated and experienced ERP Software Developer to become a key member of our internal software development team.  The right candidate will bring working experience with Epicor ERP systems and database structured business systems architecture, design and integration.
Responsibilities:
  • Implement and update Epicor ERP tooling and automation in support of our manufacturing business.
  • Create tooling to automate and integrate other operation systems and databases with Epicor.
  • Work directly with internal customers and staff to create project requirements.
  • Plan and manage development projects.
  • Develop and manage software customizations and reports.
Required Qualifications:

MACHINE OPERATOR ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY

Job Summary:
  • Configure, operate and maintain various PCBA production equipment.
  • Focus on production throughput, schedule adherence and quality standards.
  • Record production data supporting Quality Assurance processes.
  • Willingness to train on new equipment / cross-train into other areas’ work centers.

MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR

Job Summary:
Hands on opportunity within our operations team - responsible for the daily production of our products with a continuous improvement mindset by optimizing the development, training and management of AMC manufacturing personnel in our Camarillo based state of the art PCBA production facility.  This position will ensure that lines are running efficiently while focusing on safety, continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.  Direct responsibility for the labor content, quality, machine / line efficiency, schedule timeliness, safety and cleanliness of our production floor to ensure that company goals and objectives are met on a daily, monthly and annual basis.  Performance will be measured by achievement of these objectives and goals.
Essential Duties
  • Direct daily supervision of Area leads and Manufacturing direct labor.
  • Manufacturing employee training and cross-trainin.
  • Manufacturing process improvements.
  • Hands on experience in lean applying lean manufacturing practices with proven results.
  • Optimized Utilization of Manufacturing resources (person / machine).
  • Maintain key metrics associated with responsibilities.
  • 6-S plan (includes maintenance).
  • Maintain / improve ERP work order routing standards (work center, flow, set-up /cycle times).
  • Ensure personnel are properly trained (safety and maintenance) on key processes and equipment.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Leads production lead meetings to direct daily work activities, including work center staffing and w.o. priorities in support of critical on-time delivery to customer request / AMC promise
  • Monitor / track production process metrics and acts to ensure they meet established standards
  • Reviews / manages maintenance schedules for equipment to optimize availability in line with MPS requirements while minimizing down time and loss of production
  • Establish and control conditions of production to satisfy quality and customer specifications as well, through analysis of procedures with industrial engineering, equipment and materials utilized and adherence to standards is established
  • Performs administrative functions and audits as required. Focuses on labor resources, equipment, process monitoring and performance, shipping and quality.
  • Monitors and evaluates employee performance. Provides coaching and feedback to develop / improve behavior and performance.
  • Hold employees accountable for the quality of the product they produce; coach and provide performance feedback to employees if applicable.
  • Identifies and manages effective Manufacturing Excellence Projects focused on expansion of yields, equipment utilization and overall productivity.
  • Manage resources within given areas of responsibility to ensure staffing and equipment readiness levels match business activity levels.
  • Promotes, maintains, and enforces safe and healthy working conditions for all employees in accordance with regulatory requirements and Company standards.
  • Assign work according to designated priorities in order to maintain scheduled completion dates and throughput targets.
  • Provide operational input and guidance to technical staff for new product development, process improvement and process capability.
  • Maintain a high standard of product quality in accordance with ISO and the company Quality Manual.
  • Identify and execute cost savings initiatives that directly impact our Cost of Goods Sold and daily operational expenses in alignment with business and operations goals.
  • Prepare daily production and equipment utilization reports (KPIs) and maintain appropriate records in support of continuous improvement efforts and deliverables                              
Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering / operations management or other related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in an ERP managed OEM / CM electromechanical manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer literacy in MS Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and ERP systems.
  • Strong knowledge of PCBA manufacturing processes (SMT, manual / automated soldering, etc. through final assembly and test).
  • Strong verbal, writing, interpersonal skills – ability to proactively engage dialogue and communication to reach resolutions with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Project management skills – develop plans, timelines / schedules to manage budgets, floor / work cell layouts, resource requirements, calculating ROI, etc.
  • Structured problem solving and countermeasure implementation.
  • Experience in reading engineering drawings to gain understanding of manufacturing process requirements such as job sequence, workflow, fixture requirements, cell layouts, etc.

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Primary Responsibilities

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Job Summary:  
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Host-side Software Development Team.  This team provides software products, tooling and libraries which simplify the user experience augmenting our embedded servo products, while adding functional value to the design and integration of motion systems.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Software Engineer is a key contributor within our Host-side Software Development Team partaking in the design, architecture, and development of advanced software solutions, and providing high levels of system support. This individual adheres to the company’s software solutions while following industry best practices surrounding SDLC. SENIOR TEST ENGINEER

Job Summary:  
We are recruiting an experienced Test Engineer to be a key technical contributor within our engineering team.   The right candidate will develop and implement functional test programs, infrastructure and tooling to validate and verify product electronics, software and system designs.  Help us automate our test infrastructure to the extent possible to maximize resource utilization.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop and implement test software and hardware within our engineering facilities to automate testing.
  • Provide Design for Test (DFT) input on new product development.
  • Develop new processes, test methodologies and/or test facilities for improved quality, lower cycle time and lower product costs.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience supporting manufacturing test of analog and embedded devices.
  • Strong C++, C# and Object-Oriented programming skills, Visual Studio, SQL.
  • Ability to read and understand functionality of electrical schematics.
  • Skill with statistics and other methods of data analysis.
  • Familiarity with bench top electronic test equipment.
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Data Acquisition, and RS232 programming skills.
  • 5 years minimum experience in a similar position supporting product test.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and collaborating.
Preferred Skills:

TEST OPERATOR

Job Summary:
Will be connecting multiple units to our electronic test equipment to run software tests.
Required:
  • Must be good at multi-tasking and must pay attention to details.

WAREHOUSE

Job Summary:
As part of the warehouse team, responsibility will alternate among all functions of receiving, kit pulls, material handling and shipping. Position requires you to work quickly and accurately but always in a safe manner and in compliance with all company policies.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Essential Duties will be dependent on specific warehouse function being performed.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production, engineering and other requestors within the company.
  • Enters transactions for materials or items received from or distributed to production, maintains records of inventory requests and work order requests.
  • Maintains accuracy of inventory in stocking locations.
  • Moves materials between stocking locations based on system generated requirements.
  • Receives shipments from suppliers, verifies packing slip quantities, matches to PO in database, processes receipt transaction.
  • Picks, packs and processes shipments to customers, using UPS and FedEx system as well as company database.
  • Candidate must be accurate in counting of material and data entry of transactions.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. Candidate must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
  • This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5pm, including possible schedule changes (to support production) including starting early, staying late, and or working Saturdays.
