3rd Party Compatibility
Servo Motors
At ADVANCED Motion Controls our goal is to make servo drives that are compatible with as many servo motors as possible. These include brushed motors, brushless motors, linear motors, and more! This gives you and other system designers the freedom to choose among a wider variety of motors and not get locked into any particular manufacturer.
To facilitate your design process we have compiled this list of 3rd party motors that have worked with our servo drives in the past. This list isn't a guarantee of compatibility since there are too many variables to account for, but it's a good starting point when searching for the perfect servo motor for your system. Conversely, even if you don't see a motor on this list, it might still be compatible.
NOTE: We are not resellers of 3rd party products. To purchase motors listed on this page, please contact the manufacturer directly.
‘Preferred Products Partners’ have been established and are extremely knowledgeable with each other’s products for faster integration.
ThinGap
ThinGap is a leading provider of high performance, zero cogging slotless motor kits for use in applications that require smooth motion, precision actuation and deep integration. For more than twenty years, ThinGap has been rapidly designing, developing and producing high-quality, engineered-solutions that are USA-made. With an emphasis on thin stator-coils, optimized rotor-magnets, proprietary modeling and process capabilities, ThinGap coggless motors offer a high torque-to-weight ratio coupled with a large aperture and low profile.
ThinGap motors paired with ADVANCED Motion Controls FlexPro servo drives are a great combination for engineers looking for tightly integrated solutions.
TruTech Specialty Motors
TruTech Specialty Motors has partnered with ADVANCED Motion Controls providing a completely integrated drive-motor design forming a collaboration that also extends to quick-turn custom designs. TruTech Specialty Motors serves customers with complete design and manufacturing capabilities for brush, brushless and linear servo motors and are easily matched to operate with ADVANCED Motion Controls servo drives.
Typical custom designs are specified with varied magnetic circuits having unique electrical and physical requirements. Guidelines are Ke’s up to 1000, voltage ranges from 24 to 635 VDC, frame size from NEMA 10 to 56 and (metric) 25 mm to 142 mm.
Using stocked components, ‘Fastrack’ motors are assembled in many configurations with customer selected torque / speed requirements built to fit a variety of application needs. Delivered are motors with low losses, excellent thermal transfer, interchangeable end caps, easily sealed with optional: connectors, encoders, shaft modifications, dimensional changes, etc.
