Who is ADVANCED Motion Controls?

ADVANCED Motion Controls® (AMC) designs, manufactures and supplies high performance servo drives and motor controllers. From complete PWM servo control to custom servo solutions, AMC provides brushed and brushless motor drives all designed using our advancements in digital servo technology and seasoned analog servo expertise. Our products are used in a vast array of industries, ranging from Manufacturing, to Entertainment, to Homeland Security and Defense, to Medical Healthcare and many more. Motion control has been our game for over three decades, and our expertise we enables us to create motion control systems that meet each of our customers’ every need.

Servo Drives

AC servo and DC servo motor controllers are available for general servo automation or specific robot control. Our AxCent™ drive family is a collection of easily-configurable analog servo drives perfect for centralized servo motor control schemes. Our DigiFlex® Performance™ digital drives are capable of precise torque, velocity, and position control for AC and DC brushless servo motors, DC brush type servo motors, linear and rotary servo motors, closed loop vector motors, voice coils, inductive loads and actuators. Our new small and mighty FlexPro™ servo drives open up a variety of new possibilities in drive intelligence, size, and power density for embedded motion control solutions. In the event that no servo drive in our three drive families meets a customer’s need, then we’re ready and able to create a modified or custom servo drive solution that does.

Controls

All of our DigiFlex™ Performance® servo drives have Motion Engine built into them. Motion engine allows indexed and sequenced moves to be stored within the drive itself and triggered on command. In addition, our Click&Move® automation system solves many of the dilemmas machine builders often face. Click&Move® easily manages the network communication protocols, HMI, logic control, coordinated motion, and just about anything you can throw at it. Best of all, Click&Move® can operate from a PC, a Motion Automation Control Card, or even on AMC Servo Drives.

Network Options

Our Network connections for centralized or distributed servo systems include CANopen, RS232 and RS485 which are used in a wide variety of industries that work with lower data rates such as automotive, simple lab automation, and electric mobility.  For higher data rates and better real-time performance, networks such as EtherCAT, Ethernet TCP/IP, Ethernet POWERLINK and more can be used for applications such as collaborative robots, CNC machining, plasma cutting, semiconductor processing, and more.
