Delta Robot Control – See why igus chose Click&Move and ADVANCED Motion Controls

A delta robot (or deltabot) is a versatile style of robot used for a variety of applications. It uses three belt-driven linear actuators to move six pivoting rods that control the path of a central effector plate where tools can be attached.

igus Inc. partnered with ADVANCED Motion Controls, using our servo drives and Click&Move control system to bring their delta robot to life. This deltabot package is scalable, low cost, and flexible, making it perfect for machining, 3D printing, engraving, pick&place, and many more application types.

In the video below, Chris Fournier will show you how the delta robot works and demonstrate how the partnership between ADVANCED Motion Controls and igus made this all possible.
